While there has been a worrisome slowdown in the national economy – a

development that very well could impact this region – the signs from the

industrial center of Venango County appear strong.

Action Auto buys Stephen’s 02/18/2008
 Action Auto Service purchased Stephens Auto Body in Seneca to better serve

its customers and expand services.

Action Auto formerly was located at 279 Elm St. in Oil City prior to the

move to 3778 State Route 257 in Seneca during December.


Venango Steel says investment has paid off 02/18/2008
  It has been almost a year since Venango Steel completed its most recent
