Section_D Briefly Mobile Connxtion, Siegel & Associates, Seneca Insurance Services, Burford & Henry Real Estate, Seneca Full Service Notary Mobile Connxtion A cellular phone store has opened in Oil City. The Mobile Connxtion is located in the Latonia building at 1 E. First St. on the city’s South Side and is an authorized retailer for the new AT&T, formerly Cingular and Cellular One. This is the second location for David McCready of Bradford, the owner of the business. “I am happy to be a part of the future of the historic Latronia Theater as well as being able to service the people of Oil City,” McCready said. The Mobile Connxtion offers AT&T phones and plans with rollover minutes, plus accessories for all carriers. Cellular One customers from Dobson Cellular Systems can continue to pay their bills at the Mobile Connxtion. Siegel & Associates Siegel & Associates Insurance Agency is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. The agency was founded in 1993 by William R. Siegel after 20 years in the insurance business. It is located at 327 W. Main St., Clarion. The agency employs six insurance professional, all of whom are licensed agents. “These agents don’t look upon themselves as sales people so much as ‘total coverage professionals’ determined to provide each client with perfectly tailored coverage for their individual, family, business, life or health insurance needs,” Siegel said. Siegel & Associates is an independent agency so customers have an exceptional selection of A-plus rated companies from which to choose, he added. Seneca Insurance Services Seneca Insurance Services is a multi-line insurance agency located at 7137 U.S. Route 322 in Cranberry (next to the Sheetz store). It is owned by Daniel Estadt II and features coverage by Erie Insurance Group, Mercury Insurance Group, Progressive, Safeco, Millville Mutual and Bristol West. The firm writes auto, home, life, health and commercial insurance and also works with a variety of financial companies to help clients with investments. There are three full-time, fully licensed employees — Melanie Ward, Marlene Schattauer and Estadt. The agency sponsored two new events in 2007 to help acquaint the community with the business. An ice cream social was held in conjunction with the Fourth of July fireworks display at Cranberry Mall, and a car cruise was set up in the yard of the business in September. Burford & Henry Real Estate Burford & Henry Real Estate Services serves the area with two offices. One is located at 11178 Route 322, Shippenville, and the other is at 158 Elm St., Tionesta. The owners are William L. Henry III, a partner and broker who also handles real estate sales, and Brian C. Burford, a partner and appraiser who also handles real estate sales. Two new sales agents were added last year. In addition to real estate sales, Burford & Henry also offers appraisals and rental management. Seneca Full Service Notary Seneca Full Service Notary is a new business at 7137 US RT 322, Cranberry. Daniel Estadt II, the owner, said the business can handle any notary work and also offers a fully authorized messenger service. Seneca Full Service Notary can accommodate licensing work for cars, trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles and offers “Instant on the Spot” service for license renewals and registrations. A mobile notary service has been started for 2008. |
