Birdhouse project benefits trails association
The second annual Flight of Fancy project to benefit the Allegheny Valley Trails Association by creating customized birdhouses will offer up its wares starting April 8 in Oil City. Thirty wood birdhouses, built by the Venango Toymakers, are being painted and decorated by area artists. Each birdhouse reflects a theme chosen by the artist. More...

Area volunteer firefighters responded to several fires Thursday throughout Venango County.
