Douglas Hazelton, 43, remained in serious condition Sunday night at the hospital, a nursing supervisor said.
State police said Hazelton was traveling south on LeBoeuf Trail Road when he failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway.
Hazelton was thrown from the motorcycle when the vehicle traveled into a ditch along the road, police said. They said Hazelton was not wearing a helmet.
Chapmanville volunteer firefighters, Emergycare and Stat MedEvac assisted at the scene.

A Franklin man was injured and transported to UPMC Northwest after a motorcycle accident around 6:40 p.m. Saturday on Route 38 in Venango County.
State police said William J. Masterson, 23, was traveling north on Route 38 and was driving in a careless manner, performing wheelies on the road.
Masterson suffered moderate injuries after he lost control while attempting to return the front end of the motorcycle to the roadway, police said.
The vehicle slid across the road and came to a rest in a ditch, police said.
Emlenton volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Two Utica residents were injured and transported to UPMC Northwest after a motorcycle accident around 3:10 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Donation Hill and Wilson Mills roads in Venango County.
State police said Mark J. Staudt, 46, was traveling north on Donation Hill Road and was approaching the intersection when he observed another motorcycle stopped on Wilson Mills Road.
Police said Staudt thought the other driver was going to pull out in front of his vehicle. They said Staudt braked suddenly and lost control of the vehicle.
A pine tree at the intersection was attributed to limiting the view of both Staudt and the driver of the motorcycle stopped at the intersection, police said.
Staudt and a passenger, Donna L. Staudt, 45, both sustained minor injuries, police said.
