Obituary - Seth Alan Yanosky

Seth Alan Yanosky, 25-month-old son of Shane and Shannon Say Yanosky, of 24 Laurel Ave., Brookville, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Brookville Hospital.

He was born June 13, 2006, in DuBois.

Seth loved the ocean and swimming. He especially enjoyed watching Dora the Explorer and

Diego. He was given the nickname “Sharkey” by his two big sisters because he was always

trying to bite them. More than anything he loved eating Pop Tarts for breakfast and waking his

dad in the morning with a head butt.

He is survived by his parents, Shane and Shannon Yanosky of Brookville; two sisters, Alexa and Taylor Yanosky, both at home; paternal grandparents, Albert and Cathleen Yanosky of Nanty Glo; maternal grandparents, Evan and Liz Say of Corsica and Gerald and Rose Smith of Brookville.

He is also survived by his aunts, Mrs. Shawn (Cathy) Long of Richland, Mrs. Theodore (Debra)

Marines of East Berlin, Mrs. Charles (Michele) Litzinger of Nanty Glo, Mrs. Aaron (Regan) DeVallance of Treasure Lake and Mrs. James (Haley) Marshall of Brookville; cousins, Brook, Samantha, Mac, Amber, Charlie, Ted, Riley, Claire, Garett, Caden and Ian; and numerous great aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Michael and Kathryn Yanosky, Clifford and Clara Smith, John and Elizabeth Swartz and Milo and Dorothea Say.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc., 1033 Fourth Ave., Brockway, 15824.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim McConville, of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Brookville, officiating.

Burial will be at Brookville Cemetery in Brookville.
