A Seneca man was injured and flown to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, after an ATV crash around 8:30 p.m. Sunday on East State Road just west of Hill City Road in Cranberry Township.

Travis James Graham, 22, remained in the hospital Monday night and was listed in stable condition, according to a clinical manager.

State police said Graham was traveling east on East State Road toward Tippery when he lost control of the vehicle.

The ATV traveled off the roadway and flipped several times, police said. They said Graham was thrown from the vehicle during the accident.

Seneca volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

PLEASANTVILLE FIRE

Pleasantville volunteer firefighters responded to a structure fire around 10:37 a.m. Monday at 183 W. State St in Venango County.

Fire chief John Paulich said no one was home when the fire began and the house sustained minimal damage, mainly from the smoke.

Paulich said the fire may have been worse if not for a passerby who heard a smoke alarm in the home and contacted emergency personnel.

"Fortunately, we got in the house very easily and found the fire very quickly," Paulich said, adding that the fire was electrical and began in the main breaker panel in the basement.

Gary Warner owns the property and is insured, Paulich said.

Cornplanter, Cherrytree, Hydetown and Grand Valley volunteer firefighters and Titusville Fire Department also responded to the scene.

Seneca volunteer firefighters, Oil City police and Community Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.

Oil City firefighters also responded to a vehicle fire around 2:06 a.m. Sunday at Justus Park in Oil City.

Firefighters said garbage placed in the bed of a City of Oil City truck began to smolder, but was extinguished with water before the vehicle sustained damage.

Oil City police assisted at the scene.
