Garrett Wilson has watched the replays of his two-touchdown breakout performance in the New York Jets' victory last Sunday at Cleveland.

Good stuff, of course. But the rookie wide receiver has focused even more in the film room on the plays he didn't make.

Max Duggan ran 67 yards for one of two touchdowns and threw for three scores, leading TCU to a 55-24 rout of No. 18 Oklahoma on Saturday. OU quarterback Dillon Gabriel was knocked out of the game in the second quarter when he was hit while sliding by Jamoi Hodge. The TCU linebacker was ejected for targeting. Oklahoma defensive back Damond Harmon was carted off in the fourth quarter after being immobilized on a stretcher.

Austin Keys and Jared Ivey each forced fumbles in the final three minutes, both inside the red zone, and No. 14 Mississippi held off No. 7 Kentucky 22-19 on Saturday. Keys and Ivey forced Wildcats quarterback Will Levis to fumble on consecutive possessions with AJ Finley and Tavius Robinson recovering both, respectively. Both plays stopped potential game-winning drives inside the 20 to preserve the victory for the Rebels. Jonathan Cruz’s go-ahead, 26-yard field goal late in the third quarter put Ole Miss up 22-19 and set the stage for the tense, frantic finish. Robinson's recovery with 58 seconds remaining sealed the win.

The bid by interim manager Rob Thomson and the Philadelphia Phillies to end the club’s 11-year playoff drought has been hurt by a 13-4 loss to the lowly Washington Nationals in the opener of a day-night doubleheader. Philadelphia starter Kyle Gibson was rocked for eight hits and seven runs in six innings. The Game 1 loss for the fading Phillies was their sixth defeat in their past seven outings. Philadelphia began Saturday a half-game ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers for the third wild-card berth in the National League. Luke Voit, Joey Meneses and Luis García homered for the Nationals, owners of the worst record in the majors at 55-102.

Cole Doyle threw two touchdown passes and the St. Francis Red Flash ran for three touchdowns to win their home opener, rolling past Central Connecticut, 39-13. St. Francis now has won three straight, its first three three-game win streak since 2016. Doyle completed 7 of 11 passes for 76 yards. The ground game rushed 44 times for 141 yards as St. Francis led time of possession 33:03 to 26:57. Central Connecticut’s Shon Mitchell completed just 16 of 38 pass attempts for 188 yards and was picked off twice.
