The Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Applefest Core Committee has voted to cancel this year's Applefest.
The event was scheduled for Oct. 2 through 4 in Franklin.
According to a press release from the chamber, the decision to cancel was unanimous and stems from the inability to follow current COVID-19 guidelines.
