'Person of interest' in double homicide in custody

The "person of interest" in a Crawford County double-homicide case was taken into custody in West Virginia shortly after 1 p.m. today.

Jack Turner, 21, of Cochranton, was taken into custody without incident at the Greyhound bus station in Charleston, West Virginia, Charleston police said.

Shannon Whitman, 49, and her 10-year-old son, Darrin, were found deceased in their Route 198 home in Randolph Township, near Guys Mills, late Saturday evening, police said.
