Commission receives $5.4M CARES Act grant

The U.S. Commerce Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) recently awarded a $5.4 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to the Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning & Development Commission.

According to a commission news release, the money will provide gap CARES Act financing to small businesses and entrepreneurs adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
