Forest resolutions oppose bridge tolls, support Second Amendment

Forest County commissioners adopted a resolution at their meeting Wednesday that opposes tolling bridges on Pennsylvania interstates.

The resolution noted that Pennsylvania already has the second highest gas tax in the country and a "significant portion" of that revenue has gone to "cover holes in the (Pennsylvania) State Police budget and thus presently contributes to PennDOT's current self-proclaimed $8.1 billion shortfall."
