The Child Development Centers facility at Seventh Street in Franklin has closed temporarily, according to an announcement on the agency's Facebook page.

The center will be closed through Monday, Nov. 2, due to three probable (unconfirmed) cases of COVID-19 based on State Department of Health guidelines, the Facebook announcement said.

HARRISBURG - The state Department of Health on Monday announced 59 new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the tri-county area, and Butler Health System said an additional virus-related death occurred Sunday at Clarion Hospital that has yet to be reported by the state.
