Thompson opposes impeachment

Congressman Glenn Thompson voted against President Donald Trump's impeachment Wednesday in the U.S. House.

Thompson also cast a no vote Tuesday night when the House approved a resolution calling on Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. Pence rejected the call to invoke the amendment.

HARRISBURG -The state Department of Health on Thursday announced 39 new cases of COVID-19 and three new virus-related deaths from the tri-county area.
