Butler state police said a Franklin man and a Slippery Rock woman suffered fatal injuries when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a car on Friday at 4 p.m.

According to police, Gary L. Redmond, 68, was operating a 2008 Yamaha XVS 1300 and was traveling with his passenger, Jeannie M. Summers, 51, north on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township late Friday afternoon.
