Plans laid out for I-80 bridge project

KNOX- Plans have been unveiled for the new bridges that will replace the older pair of Interstate 80 bridges crossing Canoe Creek in Clarion County.

Bob Schmidt, an engineer at the Pittsburgh office of the HDR architectural and engineering firm, said during a gathering Thursday at the Knox fire hall the bridges will be wide enough to accommodate six lanes of traffic (three in each direction) if required.
