Venango coroner reports multiple COVID deaths

Seven Venango County residents who contracted COVID-19 have died in the county since Friday, according to coroner Christina Rugh.

Rugh said six of the seven are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, according to their death certificates. She said the other death isn't yet confirmed to have been caused by the virus, but the person had tested positive for COVID-19.

HARRISBURG - The latest COVID-19 cases announced Tuesday pushed both Clarion and Venango counties past 1,000 cumulative cases, and Forest County above 100 cumulative cases.
