Kneal Wiegel (left), owner of Wiegel Brothers Marine in Franklin, watches as his technician, Lance Kope of Kennerdell, tests a motor Tuesday morning. The carburetor on the engine had been rebuilt. Wiegel said his business keeps busy with repairs year round and that even a couple of his good friends can be found out on the river in January in boats with heated interiors. Walleye fishing is better in the colder months and the fish taste better because of the cold water, Wiegel said.
