Two Oil City police officers were injured Saturday during an altercation with a transient Oil City man who was a parole absconder.

Oil City police said in a criminal complaint that at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, they saw Noah Cooley, 22, who they knew to be wanted and a parole absconder, and stopped to make contact with him.
