Three Titusville residents were arrested Tuesday night on Route 8 in Oil Creek Township, Crawford County, after Corry state police found an illegal handgun during a traffic stop.

Zachary Thompson, 24, Nicholas Barnes, 25, and Maria Kuberry, 35, were arrested after a search of the vehicle revealed the handgun, drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs.

Police had stopped the vehicle at about 9 p.m. Tuesday and found that the registration plate wasn't registered to that vehicle.

All three defendants were placed in the Crawford County jail.
