A Franklin man is facing charges in connection with a domestic incident that occurred about 11:50 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Norman Street in Franklin.

A woman told Franklin city police that Richard John Swartz, 51, punched her in the nose and threatened to kill her.

Swartz was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and criminal mischief.

He was released on $1,000 unsecured bond, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled June 19 in Venango County Central Court.
