Franklin state police said two people escaped injury Sunday during a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Scrubgrass Township.

Police said Richard Hockenberry, 78, of Grove City, and his passenger were traveling in a 2006 Ford Focus when the vehicle struck a guide rail on the right shoulder.

The vehicle then crossed over both westbound travel lanes and came to rest in the median, police said.

Both Hockenberry and his passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision, police said.
