Franklin state police have released information about a one-vehicle crash Tuesday in Oakland Township.

Police said Pamela Wightman, 64, of Franklin, was driving west on Cherrytree Road at about 5 p.m. Police said Wightman was traveling too fast for the slush-covered road conditions and lost control of her Ford Escape, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway and strike a tree before coming to rest.
