An Oil City man has been charged for removing a set of metal knuckles from his pocket in plain view of officers.

The Venango County Sheriff's Office said in a criminal complaint that Samuel Gervasoni II, 26, was being placed under arrest Wednesday for outstanding warrants at a residence on West Fifth Street in Oil City when he took the knuckles out of his pocket and laid them on the stairs.
