FOXBURG - Cranberry's Daniel Fisher and Kalynne Ziegler ran to first-place finishes on Tuesday as the Berries swept homestanding Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference cross country meet. Cranberry's boys notched a 15-50 win while the Berry girls claimed an 18-41 verdict.
Coach Keith Siverling's boys team (5-0) took the first 12 places of the varsity race with Fisher leading the pack in 17:53. Following him to the finish line were teammates Matt Woolcock (second), Logan Johnson (third), Joey Fox (fourth) and Christian Miller (fifth). The margin of time difference between the Berries' scorers was a scant 27 seconds.
