Franklin's superior shooting and high-scoring offense carried the team through its first 12 games of the season as the Knights averaged more than nine made three-pointers per game and averaged a total of 69 points scored per outing in amassing an 11-1 record.

But, that offense hit the skids on Tuesday night in a Region 5 showdown with visiting Grove City at the Castle, as coach Jason Fulmer's Knights struggled to find their groove, got dominated on the boards and were held well below their season average in a 56-42 loss to the Eagles.
