Ava Ferringer dropped in 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Monday night as Cranberry was forced to make a second-half surge en route to a 36-23 win over Union in KSAC girls basketball action at the Berry Dome.

The Berries led 6-0 after one quarter, but the Golden Damsels responded in the second by taking an 11-9 lead into halftime. Cranberry, though, took control of the game with a 19-3 third period that secured the victory.


GROVE CITY - Grove City's Sam Norris knocked down four threes en route to 20 points as the Eagles downed visiting Oil City, 60-44, in the District 10 Class 4A quarterfinals on Friday night, bringing an end to the Oilers' campaign.
