Haynes closing in on D-10 mark as Knights head to Slippery Rock

IAN HAYNES

Franklin High School's football team will look to bounce back from last week's 27-16 loss to Oil City as the Knights travel to face Slippery Rock for a non-region matchup against the Rockets. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Both teams enter tonight's contest at 1-1 overall.

Coach Tom Haynes' Knights will also be looking to avenge last year's 52-12 setback to the Rockets. Quarterback Vito Pilosi, a senior, ran for a touchdown and threw for another in that game, but the Rockets will be without the graduated Kaleb Kamerer, who ran for 178 yards and four TDs.
