Getting to 12 wins for the first time in school history was no easy task for Oil City's football team, and because of it, getting to win No. 13 got a whole lot harder.

Eight days ago, the Oilers (12-0) pulled out a 9-7 victory over Hollidaysburg in a PIAA subregional showdown that left them as one of the state's final 16 teams standing in Class 5A, and the only one with a zero in the loss column. Today, the Blue and White will square off against District 11 champion Southern Lehigh (11-1) at 1 p.m. at Bald Eagle Area High School for the right to advance to the quarterfinals.
