Special event set for Sunday at Tri-City

This week's "Sunday Thunder" presentation of racing at the Tri-City Raceway Park will have a different featured attraction for the first time in 2020. The top level of dirt track stock cars, known as "Super Late Models," will compete for the first time under the speedway's new management.

The Shawgo Real Estate Sprint Cars will have the night off in order to make room in the agenda for preliminary heat races and a 25-lap headline event for the Super Late Models. Also in action this Sunday will be the Modifieds, Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Pro Stocks, and 4-Your-Car-Connection Mini Stocks.
