Oil City's Christian Cole, Caleb Bish and Devon Morrison as well as Franklin's Cade Adams were all named to the Region 3 first team in boys track and field as District 10 released its Region All-Star teams for track and field and boys tennis.
Cole was picked for the first team in the 200 while Bish was selected for the high jump and Morrison the triple jump. Adams was picked for the 300 hurdles. Adams was also picked for the second team in both the 110 hurdles and the high jump while Cole was selected for the 100 and Bish the triple jump.
Franklin's Connor Nightingale was also picked for the second team in the 400 and as part of the 400 relay team along with Eli Stewart, Ryder Brophy and George Coon while Jacob Graham was selected for the pole vault.
Oil City's Summer Stevenson and Emma Horn were the only area selections on the first team in Region 3 for girls track and field as the two shared the nod in the pole vault. Jenna Fischli was selected to the second team in the 400 and 200 for the Oilers while Christina Smtih was named for the high jump.
Franklin's Ashley Alcorn was named to the second team in both the shot put and discus and Madi Matthews was picked for the javelin while the Knights' 3,200 relay team of Alexis Hawthorne, Caroline Santee, Skylar Shields and Kaylene Dunkle was also honored with a second-team selection.
In Region 1 girls track and field, Lakeview's Michaela Rose was selected as the Region Athlete of the Year after she was picked for the first team in the 100, 200 and as part of the Sailors' 400 relay team along with Danielle Williams, Amber Sefton and Taylor McKean.
Williams was also selected to the second team in the 800 and as part of the Sailors' 3,200 relay squad along with Claire Oliver, Sefton and Mikayla Montgomery.
For the boys in Region 1, Isaac Lightcap was picked for the first team in the pole vault while the Sailors' 3,200 and 1,600 relays were also given first-team nods. Ethan Barrick, Hunter Miller, Cody Sturgeon and Luke Hostetler made up the 3,200 relay while Miller, Cole Thiec, Sturgeon and Hostetler comprised the 1,600 relay.
Hostetler was also selected to the second team in the 800 while Joey Grim was picked for the 110 hurdles as well as the high and triple jumps.
Oil City's Alec Klapec and Caleb Gardner were named to the first team for singles play in Region 2.
The rest of the team consisted of players from Region champion Warren as Region Player of the Year Caleb Ei as well as Tyler Howard and AJ Seyler completed the singles selections. The Dragons also owned both of the doubles pairings in Thomas Lucks and Eli Korb as well as Wesley Kiehl and Elliott Neal.
