Franklin's perfect start to the 2020-21 boys basketball season came to a screeching halt on Tuesday night as the Fairview Tigers invaded the Knights' Castle and dominated from start-to-finish en route to a 71-49 non-region victory.
"This game reminded me a lot of the South Park game we lost in the state playoffs and that's why we scheduled a team like Fairview," Franklin coach Jason Fulmer said after his Knights dropped to 6-1 on the season. "I'd rather play them in the middle of our season and be able to learn and make adjustments going forward than having it happen like last year at the end. And we can learn a lot from a game like this. We found out there's some areas that we really need to get better at, especially our rebounding."
