The fourth annual Frank Varischetti All-Star football game, featuring players from the former Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference pitted against players from the old Allegheny Mountain League, will be played Friday, June 28, at Brockway High School.

Seniors from the Class of 2019 were selected by the votes of head coaches from the two former leagues. The KSAC and AML combined into a three-division District 9 League last fall, but the game will retain the AML-KSAC matchup that has been featured since the first game in 2016 due to support from coaches, players and fans.

The KSAC team will be coached by Clarion-Limestone's Dave Eggleton, who was named the D-9 Small School Coach of the Year after last season, and will feature players from Clarion, Clarion-Limestone, Redbank Valley, Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley, Moniteau, Karns City, Punxsutawney and St. Marys.

Competing for the KSAC from Clarion are: Archer Mills, Nick Porciello, Sam Minich, Logan Minich and Camden Boggess while Ayden Wiles, Jim Gunning, Matt Coleman, Drew Beichner and David Wiles will be suiting up from Clarion-Limestone. Keaton Kahle, Hunter Martz, Hunter Wiles, Blaney Brooks and Travis Crawford will be participating from Redbank Valley while Joe DeHart and Chase Kline will be competing from Union/A-C Valley.

James Parenti, Bobby Mathews and Chance Nagy will be competing from Moniteau while Hunter Jones, Brandon Bastian, Madden McMillen and Stephen Covington will be suiting up for Karns City.

The AML squad, which won last year's game 40-14 and sports a 3-0 edge in the series, will be coached by Smethport's Adam Jack and will feature players from Bradford, Brockway, Curwensville, Elk County Catholic, Kane, Ridgway, Cameron County, Coudersport, Otto-Eldred and Smethport.

The game will kick off at 7 p.m. and tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children.
